Clubs in England to afford refurbishments with funding

Bowling clubs across England have received a share of £17 million from Sport England’s Inspired Facilities fund. With the support of Bowls England on club applications for the fund, many have secured the money needed to refurbish and develop their clubs. MBE for Andy Thomson

Kent’s Andy Thomson from Blackheath & Greenwich BC has been awarded the MBE for services to bowls in the New Year’s Honours list.
