Bowls England’s Hong Kong team is announced

Bowls England has announced its four-strong team for the Hong Kong Classic to be held from Saturday 3rd to Sunday 11th November inclusive. The confirmed team is Robert Newman (Berkshire), Mark Read (Cornwall), Sandy Hazell (Kent) and Julie Leake (Dorset). Norfolk have won the Middleton Cup, the men’s national inter-county championship, at Beach House Park, Worthing. They beat Wiltshire in the final 118-114 to clinch the top award in men’s county bowls for the fifth time in their history.
